১ জুন ২০২৫: আবহাওয়া অধিদপ্তর জানিয়েছে, আজ রোববার (১ জুন ২০২৫) বিকেল সাড়ে ৩টা থেকে দিবাগত রাত ১টা পর্যন্ত দেশের ১০টি জেলার ওপর দিয়ে ঘণ্টায় ৪৫ থেকে ৬০ কিলোমিটার বেগে ঝোড়ো হাওয়াসহ বজ্রবৃষ্টি হতে পারে। এসব জেলার মধ্যে রয়েছে ঢাকা, ফরিদপুর, খুলনা, বরিশাল, পটুয়াখালী, নোয়াখালী, কুমিল্লা, চট্টগ্রাম, কক্সবাজার এবং সিলেট।
আবহাওয়াবিদ মো. ওমর ফারুক স্বাক্ষরিত পূর্বাভাসে বলা হয়, এই সময়ের মধ্যে দক্ষিণ বা দক্ষিণ-পূর্ব দিক থেকে অস্থায়ীভাবে দমকা বা ঝোড়ো হাওয়াসহ বৃষ্টি বা বজ্রসহ বৃষ্টি হতে পারে। এসব এলাকার নদীবন্দরগুলোকে ১ নম্বর সতর্ক সংকেত দেখাতে নির্দেশ দেওয়া হয়েছে।
এছাড়া, আগামী ১২০ ঘণ্টার পূর্বাভাসে বলা হয়েছে, ময়মনসিংহ, বরিশাল, চট্টগ্রাম এবং সিলেট বিভাগের অনেক জায়গায় এবং রংপুর, রাজশাহী, ঢাকা ও খুলনা বিভাগের কিছু জায়গায় দমকা হাওয়াসহ মাঝারি ধরনের বজ্রবৃষ্টি হতে পারে। এই বিভাগগুলোর কোথাও কোথাও মাঝারি থেকে ভারি বর্ষণের সম্ভাবনাও রয়েছে। সারা দেশে দিন ও রাতের তাপমাত্রা সামান্য বৃদ্ধি পেতে পারে।

Storm Warning Issued for Dhaka and 9 Other Districts Until 1 AM
Kalabela Desk, June 1, 2025: The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecasted that 10 districts, including Dhaka, may experience gusty winds with speeds of 45 to 60 kilometers per hour along with thundershowers until 1 AM tonight, Sunday, June 1, 2025.
According to a weather bulletin signed by meteorologist Md. Omar Faruk, from 3:30 PM today until 1 AM, regions including Dhaka, Faridpur, Khulna, Barishal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, and Sylhet may witness temporary gusty or stormy winds from the south or southeast, accompanied by rain or thundershowers. River ports in these areas have been instructed to hoist cautionary signal number 1.
Additionally, a 120-hour weather forecast indicates that many places in Mymensingh, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions, and a few places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, and Khulna divisions, may experience moderate thundershowers with gusty winds. Some areas in Mymensingh, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions could also see moderate to heavy rainfall. Day and night temperatures across the country are likely to rise slightly.
